Project Description
In collaboration with Phoenix Analysis and Design Technologies (PADT), IdeaWorks provided Industrial Design and Concept Development services in order to assure SPOT ‘Trace’ shared a recognizable look and feel with its sibling product line. Additionally, we explored and optimized design and styling strategies that facilitate a harmony with the mounting hardware Without creating a visual “dependency” on it. Unlike other products in the SPOT lineup, the ‘Trace’ needed to be discreet and minimalist, while also reaffirming the perceived value and recognizable personality of the SPOT product line.
