Project Description
Originally intended to reduce coal blow-off in populated areas, The CoalCap provided significant enhancements to rail aerodynamics which reduced fuel costs while allowing mining operations to easily retrofit their existing fleet and fill / dump systems. IdeaWorks helped to conceptualize the look and feel of the CoalCap while also providing detailed stills and animated visualization to help convey the mechanized logic to Railway Engineers.
